It's Pi Day.  Have some Pi!
We take Pi Day seriously at work.  Today there was a pie potluck (other desserts welcome--we're an inclusive lot), and the above was my contribution: a dark chocolate tart with gingersnap-crumb crust.  A texture like a chocolate truffle, with a slight bite of cinnamon and black pepper.  I call it a success.*

*the recipe is from Smitten Kitchen.  I have never used one of her recipes that was not terrific.



Let me know how it goes. Me--I left most of the uneaten part at work, because really: if I ate any more I might just die of the bliss.
